Monica's Baby shower/Maternity Photos

This is quite late coming because Monica now has her little girl Stephanie, who is about 7 weeks old or so now, but I wanted to share it because it was a cute idea! My friends and I had a baby shower for Monica in November at the Creole Gallery, and all of us had cameras so we decided it would be a cute idea to take maternity photos of Monica around Old Town. It was pretty cold outside so we didn't do much there but we did go into Tallulah's Folly and Lamb's Gate because each store has a lot of cute, unique items in there. So that's where these photos are from.  These are my favorite, her framed belly, the present in her belly, and the cute vintage shot.

Brown/Noel Family

The Brown family came up from Chicago to visit their family for the holidays. I feel very obliged that they chose to take the time to come my studio the day after Christmas. The Browns and Noels were all very sweet, especially little George who was 2 1/2 years old, he was a trooper. I love the photo of the grandparents on the top, you can tell from this photo and the others I took of them, they are still very much in love. The men of the family are definitely proud to be together from the 3rd photo. They were a great family, I'm glad I met them.

Lamb Family

For the Lamb's family photo we went to their cute store in Old Town 'Lamb's Gate'. Lamb's Gate is the coolest little store filled with antiques from jewelery, to clothes, to furniture and more. There is also a lot of "hip" vintage items as well. I've gotten a few things there myself, my couch is the biggest thing I've gotten from there. We took the photos a few days before Christmas because everyone was together. I'm so glad we got to go to their store because it makes for fun and interesting backdrops! We first took a photo of the whole lot then took some separate photos of little Jackson with his aunts, uncle, great grandparents, grandparents, and of course his own mommy and daddy! He was such a cutie! Definitely the most popular of the group. I'm so glad I got to be with the Lamb family and meet some of the other relatives!

Pizzo Family

The Pizzo family came over to my little studio for Christmas Photos. They were so adorable! Alex was a little doll and Logan had the most handsome head of curly hair! I loved Alex with her little hat with the flower, so pretty. The picture of Logan looking like he thinking....maybe of what he wanted for Christmas, so cute. Then we took some Christmas photos in front of the Christmas tree, the kids got on their pjs, Logan looks like he's extra excited about his presents and the look on Alex's face is like she just got surprised with an awesome present or something. The shoot went very well.

Rum Runner's New Year's Eve Party

Rum Runner's had a rockin' New Year's Eve party! I began by being a part of their dinner they served before the party, which was very yummy! They had eclairs, breaded macaroni, salad, chicken, and some other yummy foods. I took pictures of everything during the party! And I tried to record the count down and how Rum Runners filled up as the night went on. The dance floor was upbeat the whole night, I kind of wished I didn't have to lug around my camera so I could dance too! Drinks were flowing, the Orgy was an espcially popular drink because it can be shared by a group of people, I have a couple shots of that above. Then upstairs was the ever entertaining duel pianos! They had 4 different entertainers take turns playing, each one had a different style than the next. Those guys definitely deserve the tips they get! Rum Runners was definitely an awesome place to go to for New Year's Eve!

The Wells Family

The whole Wells family haven't had a family photo in awhile, so they call me! I went over to their house while they were preparing their extended family Thanksgiving dinner, and took their photos while the food cooked. They were very easy to take photos of, the little ones Emily and Ethan of course made their goofy faces for the photos, but I managed to get some sweet smiles out of them too.

Potter Family

The Potter family came over to my studio for some Christmas photos! Lydia and Roslyn were adorable in their little sweater dresses. We even used some fun Christmas props like an ornament and necklace, they both may have been slightly distracted by these but that actually made for some sweet photos. I can't wait to see them again, their such little sweeties!
