Amanda

Amanda was so sweet! She such a cute little2 year old girl, full of lots of energy! She loved to dance so we had fun, pop music playing most of the time, I think Hilary Duff mostly. We definitetly took some sweet photos of her. I love the last photo, she kind of looks like a model. And I love the vintage one of her, she looks like a curious little doll on the chair. She was overall a delight to have here! :-)

Big Willy

Big Willy is a band of four guys, Will, James, Will, and Eric. They are a blues-rock band with drums, guitar, sax, bass, and of course vocals. Big Willy plays at local bars such as the Corner Bar and The Green Door. They can also be seen at many blues fests in the area and around Michigan. They were a very cool bunch, definitely worth taking your time listening to and hanging out with. These are a few shots I took of them for their album and flyers etc.

Sutton Family Christmas Photos

Once again I had the pleasure of taking photos of the wonderful Sutton family. Onna had a beautiful gold dress with fur collar on with her big blue eyes. Judah was looking very sharp in his black sweater and little Ezra had the cutest little man red vest suit on! it was adorable! Ezra still learning to push himself up but i caught a glimpse of him. What a sweet idea to have all three if them wear little sister, little brother, and big brother t's. Mom and Dad were great as usual! thanks for coming to my studio!

Julian Vail Head shots

The employees and the two partners of Julian Vail came to my home studio to update their business head shots. Julian Vail was founded in 2005 by former State Representative Larry Julian and Val Vail-Shirey who have a total of 33 years experience in governmental relations and organizational development. They provide consulting services to a wide variety of clients and continue to expand their areas of expertise. It was very pleasant having them.

'Lucky' Fundraiser at Rum Runners

I got yet another opportunity to shoot for Rebel Pictures for their fundraiser for the new movie 'Lucky' premiering in February. The previous fundraiser was held at Brannigan Brothers but this one is at Rum Runners! At every fundraiser Rebel Pictures provide food to snack on while Sam Corbin plays and Michael McCullum speaks about the new movie coming out and the people he is thankful for helping him. Then the preview shows. Rum Runners was a nice place for the fundraiser to be held, there is a lot of space and the food was really good!

Ele's Place Reception

Ele's Place is a non-profit, community based organization with a mission to create awareness of and support for grieving children and their families. I got the opportunity to photograph for their reception being held for their sponsors. First I photographed all different sponsors with the guest speaker Justice Stephen Markman, Ele's Place will be sending a print to each sponsor from this. Then I photographed all the speakers and people enjoying themselves at the reception. It was a very touching reception, we all got to hear many stories about children who have gone through many grievences and how Ele's Place has helped them through their hard times. The girl with the green headband and shawl told such a story. At the very end of the reception we all let hundreds of Ele's Place balloons go into the night for all children and their lost loved ones.

Abby's Senior Photos

Abby's Senior Portrait session turned out nicely. It was a beautiful day and the sun was shining perfectly. I loved her yellow dress, it went with the yellow/orange changing leaves so beautifully! We took the photos around her house, which is right next to some woods and a creek. Abby's boyfriend was nice enough to assist me so I took some sweet photos of them together by the creek. I was very lucky to photograph such a beautiful, sweet girl. :-)

Mitten Maven's 1st Bout

One of the Lansing Roller Derby teams, The Mitten Mavens, played there first Bout the day before Halloween, so naturally they dressed up a little bit more than they already do. They played the Flint City Derby Girls, who unfortunetly had a tad more experience than the Mitten Mavens. But the bout was great to watch, they skated awesomely! You can tell when you look closely at the girls that they have lots of scratches, bruises, torn tights etc. It's a physical sport. My favorite photo is the first one, because you can see a couple of the Flint Girls falling behind a Mitten Maven who is still skating on. I can't wait to see their next bout, it's definitely an interesting and exciting sport to get into

Uncle John's Cider Mill

Three of my photographer friends and I thought it would be a fun idea to go to Uncle John's Cider Mill and take photos of the changing of the leaves and enjoy some cider and get a pumpkin! So we just spent the afternoon taking photos and having fun! It was beautifu weather.

Lydia & Roslyn

This photo shoot was mainly for Roslyn's birthday, but we had to have sister in too of course. Roslyn was so adorable for her photos, she was smiley and making noises the whole time. I loved all her outfits too, with the little flower in her hair, another outfit she had striped leggings with a striped monkey and the matching bows in the hair that Lydia and Roslyn had. I just love the photo where Roslyn looks like she's dancing. Lydia was so sweet too, she had just woken up from a nap after she arrived at the studio, and she still made sweet photos.

Reed Family Photos

The Reed family was really awesome! They were so much fun to take photos of and very photogenic. The girl's Grandma was visiting up from Ohio so we of course needed photos of her with the girls. Bethany & Josh also needed a family photo for Christmas Cards and to promote themselves for a big, overseas missions trip coming up. They were a really nice family and took beautiful photos, I chose some of the candids ones because I loved the expressions. Especially the one of Gram's face holding the two girls, so cute. :-)

Sutton Family Photos

So happy to have the Sutton family over at my home studio. I'm done a lot of photo shoots with them and I got to meet more of their extended family. They were all very nice, I had a fun time getting to know them a bit. The Suttons also got a chance to get their yearly MSU dressed family photo done too.
