Besides their pictures turning out great, I learned when in doubt, use bubbles!

The Brenamans

Isn't Aliah so precious!? Aliah just turned one! As you can see in the last set of photos, they brought a blanket with her name and birthdate on it.  I love the Christmas photos of Aliah too, they turned out so gosh darn cute! I especially love the "tah dah!" photo, or it's a dance pose, either way she's adorable. This is my first time meeting the Brenamans, they are a very beautiful family, I'm glad everything turned out so well.

I have the cutest niece and nephews!

I had so much fun taking pictures of my sister's family, as always.  They are so cute and well-behaved.  Emily loves to be a little model for me and Ethan is liking portrait sessions more every time. The youngest, Emmett, was a little in need of a nap, so he was a little grumpy, but I still got some cute ones of him.

Doug and Dana's Wedding

Congrats Doug and Dana Hill! Your wedding was beautiful! Their wedding was held at Hawk Hallow Chapel and reception hall, right across the street from each other, very convenient. It was a perfect day and the leaves were changing on the trees.  The ceremony was very sweet, I could see the love in their eyes as Dana looked at Doug while walking down the aisle to him.  We had tons of fun shooting the formal photos afterwards.  The party received carts to drive to the reception and then we took some shots on the golf course. The reception as you can see was beautiful, unique and happening.  I'm so glad I had the opportunity to take their wedding photos, I've known Dana since I was 6, so it was pretty special.

Emily and Nick Engagement

Emily and Nick were so sweet to photograph! Nick is a fireman so they chose to do some of the session at the fire station, very cool idea! So we had fun sitting on the fire truck, playing with the hoses, hide and seek in the fireman gear, and laying on the hood of the ambulance :-)  After all the "playing" we went to the studio for some cute pictures as well. They are just one of the most adorable couples! Congrats Emily and Nick! 

Lockworx Salon Fashion Show

Lockworx the Aveda Salon held a spectacular fashion show! The show included about 30 models and was held at Lou and Harry's Bar by Charlier's Crossing.  The main purpose of the show was to raise money for the Susan B. Komen Foundation.  That whole day was very eventful.  I visited the salon to take some shots of them getting ready hours before the show where Sushi Moto provided sustenance for the models, I snagged a few rolls too of course, so yummy! Later on I took more shots of the models preparing themselves for the runway at Lou and Harry's right before the show where I managed to get some slightly more posed shots of them outside.  Lockworx sure knows how to throw a fabulous fashion show!

Sutton Family Christmas Photos

As always the Sutton family was a pleasure to have.  We had family photos first and then by the time we shot Jenna's 3 month old photos, she was asleep.  The Suttons made that red frame for me to use in future shoots as well, so I'm excited for that! I also love the couple shot of Cynthia and Jesse, we didn't have a mistletoe so we used an ornament instead. :-)
