Newborn Mathias

How cute is this little guy!? Isn't he so precious? Mathias is 3 weeks old and his name means gift of God, which is why we put him in a gift box with a bow.  But kids are a gift anyways. Just about every little thing in his photos were significant. I believe his Uncle made the little teacup lamp in the top photo and most of the blankets were very special to the family as well.  Don't you just love his little toes and sleep face? And the ones with mom and dad couldn't be more sweet.  I'm so glad I got to meet this little one.

Mary Kay Portraits

The purpose of this shoot was to update Director, Stephanie Lenard's wall for the Mary Kay ladies who are upgrading to the red jackets or for those who haven't gotten their portrait taken in awhile.  It was also a way to encourage some of the Mary Kay ladies to keep working hard, keep on with their sales and their fun Mary Kay parties!

Jessica's Maternity Session

I love prego bellies! It's so much fun being with the expectant mom, anticipating the new baby coming soon. Even if they may feel "slightly" uncomfortable with their baby jammed up in their ribs :-) I bring out the inner joy of their expectancy.  Jessica now has her little Mathias, who is now 3 weeks old with pictures which will be up soon!

Elisa and Cannon!

Elisa just turned 4 so we had to celebrate with some cute photos of course! And after much deliberation, we found out that the small football makes Cannon happiest in the studio. 

Jenna and Judah!

Judah just turned 5 and Jenna is 6 months old!  I can't believe she is already 6 months, I took her photo when she was just a newborn.  Jenna's mom is wearing her  Grandma's antique dress from when she was a baby. Judah was really fun! he brought a fireman outfit and Superman!  So we had a great time with that for sure.

This shoot was for Natalie Shaver's Etsy site: http://www.etsy.com/people/ToLife with the lovely model Heather.  Natalie searches out treasures such as vintage clothes, decor, furniture, and jewelry to sell.  Easy access for all us vintage lovers, right on her site.  These were my favorite tops, boots and purses that Natalie brought for me to photograph.  And yes, I got to take some of it home with me. :-)

Beth and Reyen's Wedding!

Beth and Reyen's Wedding couldn't have been on a more perfect day! I had the opportunity to shoot up in beautiful Traverse City.  Their wedding ceremony and reception was at the Haggerty Center with sailboats continually in the background of their shots. They even had doves fly off after the ceremony, so romantic! The reception was so much fun, everyone was hoppin' and dancin'. I thought it was a bit unique too because instead of having a cake, they had pies, Beth loved pies way more than cake. I had the strawberry rhubarb pie, it was delicious! By the way, another advantage of shooting in Traverse City besides it's beauty... Wine tasting!
