Capital Area Blues Society

 I went to the "Blues Brawl" for the Capital Area Blues Society this year held at The Green Door in Lansing. It was a blast! I missed the 1st and last bands but I got to enjoy Big Will (solo) Gina Garner & Brian Kandler, Tywla Birdsong, John Patrick Peters Band, and Step Away.

Graduation Ceremony : C.H.E.S.S

Congrats class of 2014 C.H.E.S.S graduates! C.H.E.S.S. stands for Christian Home Educators' Support System. They had their ceremony at South Church. It was great hearing from all the students!

Maternity : Megan

 

Isn't Megan on of the cutest pregnant girl ever?! We had a great Maternity Session. She was visiting from Tennessee to have her baby shower with her family, what a great opportunity! We started in the studio for some fun bubble gum shots and ended up in a park in Williamston. It was a tad chilly but it was worth it!

Capital City FIlm Festival Red Carpet Party

How fun was this! Capital City Film Festival has their 3rd Annual Film Festival in Lansing that lasts for 4 days! CCFF kicked it off with a red carpet party held at Troppo in Lansing. It was very cool! Everyone had to walk down the red carpet to get in, get their picture taken by the "paparazzi", then once inside Troppo there were free appetizers, discounted drinks, an awesome DJ, and "vintage" video games!

Lansing Wedding : Steve + Sharon

                                                                 

I am SO happy for Sharon and Steve! They were married at New Covenant Christian Church and had a small, cake reception afterwards. I loved it!

Old Town Engagement : Steve + Katelind + Lucy

                   

Steve and Katelind are such a cute couple! Even though it was cold, we still had a good time outside with their dog Lucy. She's really cute too! We strolled along Old Town for a bit then warmed up in Aggie Mae's Bakery and ended up downtown at Taps 25.
