Rachel and Jamie's Wedding

 Rachel and Jamie's Wedding was so beautiful! I shot their wedding with Karah Kellar Imaging in St. Ignace, MI at the Kewadin Casino.  It is right on the lake so the ceremony was held there.  She got ready in the Bridal suite where I took some sweet photos of beautiful Rachel! I love the shot where she just got her dress on and she's peeking through the window under the curtain to look at her ceremony spot.  I was lucky enough to have tons of room to take photos from behind Rachel and Jamie to get some really sweet, intimate photos.  They both had such great emotions during the ceremony it was simply breathtaking to capture!  For the formal photos we went across the Mackinac Bridge by this lighthouse that looks like a castle, they were too much fun!  Then we headed back to the casino for some meaningful speeches, great food, and fun dancing!  I'm so glad I was involved in shooting their wedding with Karah Keller. 

Elisa and Cannon

Another shoot at the MSU Children's Gardens! This time I got to take photos of Elisa (2 1/2 yrs) and Cannon (1 1/2 yrs).  It was really fun, at that age kids can't sit still very well so being in a big open space is usually a good idea.  They had a fun time exploring the Secret Garden, the roses, and playing in the fountain.  Cannon and Elisa both have the prettiest blue eyes! I also loved Elisa's braid with the flower, so adorable!  I felt like a had to put the photo of Elisa and her daddy in there, I just think it's sweet moment between them.

Shane Hagedorn Head shots

I had the pleasure to shoot  actor, writer, and producer; Shane Hagedorn at the old John Bean warehouse. He was very fun to work with, I had met him numerous times before in Rebel Picture's fundraisers and movie premieres.  It was nice too because he brought his sister along, so I got to meet her and she hung around and helped us! Shane has been in such films as: 'Fairview St.' and 'Handlebar' produced by Rebel Pictures and also 'Nice Guy Blues',  'Blue Plate Special' and more.  Shane has been working on producing a movie pretty soon, and hopefully he can start filming soon as well when everything is ready.  It'll be nice to work with him again. http://www.shanehagedorn.com/Welcome.html

Rick and Brandy's Wedding

Brandy and Rick's wedding was so sweet, in everything they did, you could tell they truly loved each other. I have quite a few photos of the flower girls, they were just so beautiful and we even had a set of twins which made the photos extra fun!  I had an exciting time catching the personalities of the wedding party and the people attending the ceremony, they were a family of characters that's for sure, very cool people. I'm really glad I was able to shoot this wedding with Holme's Photography at the Bridge Street Chapel.  

My Magnolias

I know these are kind of late to put up but I just wanted to share the beauty of my magnolias in my yard. I wish they lasted longer! They are definitely one of the treasures in my yard, I'm contemplating on planting another one at some point. :-)

Schartzer Crew

I always love going to the MSU Horticultural Gardens and Children's Garden! Every time I discover new, sweet ideas for photographs.  This time I went with the two Schartzer children, Taya and Jada with their cousin Arabella. They all have such beautiful names don't they? Plus they are super adorable! They were in a good mood the whole time and loved to pose most of the time, but a lot of these are candids too.  I particularly love the photo of Jada (3 1/2 years old) with her looking into the roses, if you look closely you can see the reflection of the roses in her eyes, so cool!

Wedding Ceremony at the Bridge Street Chapel

I got the great opportunity to shoot with Gay Holmes from Holmes Photography at the Bridge Street Chapel in Grand Ledge which her and her husband, Chris, own.  I only helped with shooting the wedding ceremony of this couple, but I got to take some getting ready shots and the formals afterwards as well.  They were a very sweet couple with beautiful attire and wonderful family and friends.  One of my favorite shots was at the end of the ceremony when the officiant announced that they were husband and wife she didn't just say it, she shouted it with her fist up on the air! It was great.
