Mid-Michigan Home Schoolers' Graduation

The Parents Walked with the graduate down the aisle and gave them the diploma on Stage

A few different students spoke

And of course, they threw their hats in the end. I also took portraits of most of the families before and           after the ceremony.

New Year's Eve Wedding : Kelsey & Shaun

What a fun wedding! Kelsey and Shaun chose to have their wedding on New Year's Eve so it was be one big party! They had their wedding at the charming Bridge Street Chapel & the reception and Quality Inn.  Did I mention they had a Disney themed wedding as well? The decor was so cute, as you can see on the cake, and on the tables were the "floating roses" from Beauty and the Beast. They had glass slipper favors scattered on the tables as well.  Kelsey's dress was very much a princess dress too, it was gorgeous! The party went on until after midnight, it was awesome!

Winter Wedding : Bridget & AJ

I know this is VERY late to be posting this, but maybe it will help encourage all you couples thinking about a having a winter wedding! Now would be the time to book for winter right? Bridget and AJ's wedding was gorgeous! The ceremony was held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, which is beautiful! I loved the HUGE Christmas trees in the background and the stain glass window. I was REALLY excited for the formals because I was lucky enough for it to snow for them! If I'm going to be shooting in the freezing cold it had better be snowing!   The poor girls were so cold in there little, black dresses though, I tried to be as quick as I could. Luckily Bridget didn't seem to mind the cold at all, I think she was a snow bunny.  They met at MSU so where else to get the photos done? We had tons of time to kill until the reception so we went to the Pizza House in Hannah Plaza.  I'm not used to having so much time to kill and relax so I felt VERY out of place. But of course, I got some photographs at the Pizza House too, they turned out pretty cute.  The reception was at Eagle Eye, it was a sweet one.  At one point AJ's brother played them a song he wrote for them, it was so precious!  AJ and Bridget's family were so gracious and nice, I'm really glad I got to shoot their wedding.
